When racing pushes your limits, your bike shouldn't

Kanga is a gravel bike specifically designed to meet the needs of amateur competitive bike riders, combining high-performance racing capabilities with exceptional rider comfort.

Gravel racing is exciting but often uncomfortable, especially for amateur riders. Kanga provides ergonomic support and comfort, helping riders maintain performance even when fatigue sets in.

Kanga introduces unique features tailored for amateur competitive riders, such as an ergonomic looped handlebar designed to provide safer aero positioning and enhanced control, along with a leaf suspension system that significantly improves comfort and stability on challenging gravel terrain.

Pain Shouldn’t Be Part of the Ride

Riders endure saddle sores and back pain, making long rides more about suffering than enjoyment.

Navigation Should Be Second Nature

Race-day chaos and "race brain" make it harder to focus on the route, leading to costly detours.

Ride Around the Rules

Innovative riders find ways to work within gravel racing rules.

Their bike should do the same thing.

Growing Global Popularity

Gravel biking is one of the fastest-growing cycling trends globally, with a 55% increase in participation on Strava in 2023.

Room for Innovation in Design

As a young category, gravel bikes vary widely in design, showing how much space there is for new ideas.

Current Design Gaps

Many gravel bikes still force riders to choose between speed and comfort, revealing the need for better, more balanced solutions.

A gravel bike is a versatile bicycle designed to handle both paved roads and rough, unpaved trails—perfect for adventurous riders who enjoy exploring beyond the pavement.

Dual-Access Brake System

The handlebar features brake levers on both sides, allowing riders to safely brake from both the aero tucked position and the traditional drop position.

To reduce mental fatigue and race-day confusion, we designed an intuitive navigation system that helps riders stay on course without needing to check their phones or search for trail markers.

The handlebar is designed to offer safer, more comfortable aerodynamic positions, helping riders maintain speed and control even when fatigued, while staying compliant with gravel racing rules.

Use of Frame Flex + Leaf Springs

Inspired by Lauf’s leaf suspension fork—a lightweight, spring-free system—we adapted the concept into both the rear triangle and fork of our frame. This approach offers subtle shock absorption without adding bulk, improving rider comfort while maintaining race-ready efficiency.

To keep riders fueled and prepared without interrupting their race flow, we designed integrated storage solutions that offer quick, easy access to snacks, tools, and essentials—without compromising the bike’s aerodynamics.

Our final design brings together key features that enhance the gravel racing experience by addressing rider pain, navigation challenges, and race limitations. Each element is thoughtfully designed to improve comfort, performance, and usability without compromising on speed or safety.
